Winter Camp 2026

Twenty-three boys. Three days. Zero phones.

Back to news

The weekend before Term 2, twenty-three of our boys traded their screens for sleeping bags and spent three winter days in the bush with their leaders. They came home tired, muddy, and asking when the next one is. Mission accomplished.

The hikes

Full packs, real distance, and trails that don't care how tired you are. Every boy carried his own weight — and when someone flagged, his unit carried him through it.

The campsite

Tents pitched by the boys themselves, inspected with military seriousness, and packed down better than we found the ground. That's the standard.

The campfire nights

Sparks going up into the winter sky, stories, dhikr, and the kind of conversations that only happen when the phones are three days away.

The night mission

Camouflage, a plan, and a lot of very quiet laughing in the dark. Ask your son about it — it's already legend.

To the leaders who gave up their weekend, planned every contingency, cooked every meal and stayed up so the boys could sleep safe — this camp was yours. And to the parents who trusted us with their sons: that trust is an amana we don't take lightly. More photos are in the gallery.
